Dr. Carol White DNP, RN, ANPC, GNPC, CNLCP is a quadruple board certified nurse practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1992. She went on to obtain a dual master degree in 2000 in Community Health Nursing and as an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. White furthered her education and studied at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2009. Dr. White’s board certifications include Adult Nurse Practitioner, Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, and Life Care Planner. Most recently she became certified as a functional medicine practitioner. She has practiced as a licensed nurse for 33 years, and as a nurse practitioner for 25 years.
Dr. White’s nursing career started in 1989 when she became a certified nursing assistant, and then she took paid student nursing positions during her undergraduate training. Her first licensed nursing position as a registered nurse was in 1992 as a intensive care unit and telemetry nurse. She also worked in the emergency room. Later she became the inservice director at a long-term care facility (nursing home) where she taught certified nursing assistant courses, and educated nurses. She then moved into work as a charge nurse in a long-term care facility, and then as a director of nursing before becoming a nurse practitioner in the long-term care setting starting in 2000.
In 2003, Dr. White formed Geriatric Innovations as a business for her clinical practice as a nurse practitioner. In 2004, Dr. White started working part-time as a nurse practitioner and added educational consulting to Geriatric Innovation’s services. In December 2004, the name was changed to National Healthcare Innovations and incorporated under the name NationalHI, INC. (NHI). Over the course of the next several years, Dr. White presented eight-hour, keynote, and break-out presentations in forty-five states. Her opinions have been published in interview articles on Medscape and Eli’s MDS Alert. Dr. White has published her research in the peer-reviewed Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners entitled, “An Exploration of Decision-Making Factors Regarding Advance Directives in a Long-Term Care Facility” in 2005.
In 2005, Dr. White started getting asked to review medical malpractice and nursing home cases for attorneys. She gradually let go of the educational consulting and focused on her clinical work and legal consulting. NHI has grown over the years to become a nationwide practice employing herself, two paralegals, and several contracted nurses. Between the educational consulting and legal consulting, Dr. White has worked on cases and/or educated nurses in every state but Vermont, and has even worked on a case from Canada. NHI provides paralegal support services, as well as behind the scenes case review, cost projections, and life care planning in catastrophic injury cases. Dr. White is well known throughout the United States as providing expert witness testimony in cases that involve nurse and nurse practitioner standard of care, as well as life care planning.
In 2007, Dr. White became a full-time nursing professor to undergraduate nursing students at Indiana Wesleyan University, then transitioned in 2008 to the graduate nursing program there teaching students who were getting their Master degree in Nursing Education, Nursing Administration, as well as Nurse Practitioner. In late 2008, Dr. White became the chair of the Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Indiana Wesleyan University until the program was dissolved several years later. Also in 2008, Dr. White started seeing patients in the outpatient setting at a free clinic in Marion, Indiana and continued that over the next 15 years. From 2013 through 2025 Dr. White continued to see patients in the outpatient, assisted living, acute rehabilitation, and long-term care settings as both a primary care provider and as a physical medicine and rehabilitation nurse practitioner.
Dr. White formed Functional Medicine Partners in 2025. She and her husband, Doug Kronk, have three amazing sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, three rambunctious lovable dogs, and adorable twin grandsons. In her free time, Dr. White enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. In the winter they like to ski, and in the summer, you will find them by the lake boating, kayaking, wake surfing, or going out to area restaurants to eat and listen to bands play in their lake town.
In Dr. White’s coveted alone time, she has edited and published several books, and more are on the horizon over the next couple years.

Sharon Hite ISSA-CPT/Transforming Bodies Since 1998
My passion for personal training began early, rooted in my background as a competitive gymnast. That foundation led me into leadership roles in fitness, including serving as a formal strength coach for the Cincinnati Bengals and working as an endurance coach.
In 1998, I stepped on stage for my first fitness competition, which further fueled my commitment to health, performance, and helping others reach their full potential. Shortly after, I became a certified trainer with Bally Total Fitness. After a year and a half, I realized my impact-and results- were even stronger outside of the corporate environment, which led me to start my own business, Get Fit with Sharon.
Following my relocation to Middlebury, Indiana, the brand evolved into Get Fit Michiana, where I built a results-driven training community. I’ve worked with clients through boot camps, one-on-one personal training, and competition coaching- helping individuals transform not just physically, but mentally.
What drives me is simple: I love seeing people win.
Whether its in fitness, business, or personal growth, I’m passionate about helping others push past limits, build confidence, and achieve real, lasting results.
Hi, my name is Bria — a Health Coach passionate about helping others heal, thrive, and feel at home in their bodies again. After walking through my own journey with GI issues, IBS, ulcers, endometriosis, anxiety, and years of searching for answers, I understand how discouraging it can feel when you know something is wrong but don’t know where to turn.
I became a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2021, where I studied over 100 dietary theories, nutritional coaching, and whole-body wellness approaches. While continuing my education, I also faced one of the most challenging seasons of my own health in 2022, including my first surgery for endometriosis. That experience deepened my compassion, strengthened my resilience, and gave me even greater insight into what true healing requires.
In 2023, I officially launched my health coaching practice, and over the last three years, I have truly loved supporting clients as they create meaningful changes in their health, mindset, and daily lives. Helping others reconnect with their bodies and feel empowered in their wellness journey is work I deeply value.
I also bring 10 years of experience as an esthetician, where I learned that the skin—our body’s largest organ—often tells a deeper story about internal health. By combining my background in skincare with holistic health coaching, I’ve been able to help clients achieve beautiful results not only in their skin, but in their overall wellness.
Through education, self-advocacy, and a deep commitment to healing, I transformed my own health and became the healthiest version of myself—able to fully embrace motherhood and welcome my daughter from a place of strength and wellness.
Now, I’m devoted to helping others do the same. I combine professional training, lived experience, and a passion for continued learning in holistic and functional wellness to guide clients toward lasting change. My mission is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered as you create a healthier, more vibrant life.
